When you are looking to purchase
inflatables, you can NOT only look at price. There is quality involved,
features, and warranty issues.
It is hard to look at quality through a picture, that is why it is
important to ask around. Try searching through the posts at the
moonwalk forum or ask
questions.
What about features? You need to ask the company: does it come with a
roof, front step, a zipper? Some of these items aren't available and
sometimes they are an extra cost to you. What quality is built into it?
Is it made with quality vinyl? fire retardant? double stitched?
(Some states require that you purchase approved equipment and
inflatable manufacturers must apply for a certification for the inflatables
they sell. Check out your state requirements
for inflatable rentals here.)
Lastly, what is the warranty on the item? Some offer only 1 year. (IMHO,
not much faith in a product) But some offer a 2 1/2 and some even a 3
year warranty. Some believe in their product so much that they will pay
to ship it back to them for the repairs! Shipping can often costs more then
the repair! What happens if the stitching comes apart after only 2
rentals (it happens), who's responsible?
Friendly Tip: Don't start your business on the price of your inflatables
